Me with Yamaha Enduro DT 100

Setelah sekian lama tidak berkabar dengan badi, pemilik motor Yamaha DT 100, pertengahan April ini aku coba berkontak dia, sembari bercerita dan memastikan bahwa motor tersebut masih dipakai buat wira-wiri. Saat ini proses pengecatan tengki binter yang belum kelar juga, walaupun sudah sebulan lebih nongkrong di bengkel cat. kebetulan akhir-akhir ini Jogja hujan.

Untuk sementara, motor tersebut masih dipakai wara wiri ke kantor 3 hari dalam seminggu. Sisa harinya aku pakai motor istri. Mau dipakai harian kok eman-eman. Terutama terhadap kondisi Ban belakangnya. Nampaknya ban itu tidak terlalu bersahabat dengan aspal. Aku perhatikan kembangan ban sudah mulai menipis.

Ada cerita menarik dengan motor ini, awal minggu ke 2 April ini, motor aku pakai ke Jakal untuk ngurus cetak brosur untuk salah satu kegiatan kantor. Pulangnya kehujanan. Deres banget. Di deket pasar Colombo- Jalan Kaliurang 6,5, motor sempet macet. Aku bongkar businya, mesin hidup bentar, trus mati lagi, begitu terus sampai 5 menitan.

Akhirnya setelah bisa nyala tersedat-sendat, dalam keadaan hujan motor aku paksa jalanin, sambil menarik tuas cuk. Sebuah Mitsubishi gallant V24 hampir menyerempet, untung masih mampu menghindar.

Aku curiga, motor ini kehabisan bensin. Segera DT aku arahkan ke Pom Bensin Jalan Kaliurang, siapa tahu bensin habis, eh ternyata bener, 4,4 liter premium belum mampu memenuhi tengki.

Kesimpulanku berarti bener, motor itu gak pernah macet kecuali kehabisan bensin dan oli. Hehehe..

Masalah setelah kasus hujan belum selesai. karena ternyata lampu depan padam, Pas dibongkar tampaklah kondisi lampu halogen 12v/35W yang mengenaskan. Bukan main, listrik yang keluar dari motor ini mampu menghanguskan dan membuat kacanya gak berbentuk.

Setelah aku pikir-pikir ini pasti ada hubungannya dengan kejadian hujan. Disebelah timur studio foto Calista, banjir. Aku melibas genangan air setinggi betis, pikirku kalau macet paling ndorong, bersihkan busi dan karburator. beress..

Ternyata motor melewati ujian dengan sempurna, disaat motor baru menyerah dan memilih untuk mencari jalan lain, enduro berhasil menyebrangi kubangan air sejauh 300 meteran.. Salut..

Siang ini, (15 April ) aku coba cari bengkel aris. Pas udah ketemu dan mengutarakan permasalahannya dengan trampil dia bergerak, tampak kalau dia memang udah hafal luar dalam motor itu, buktinya gampang saja bagian mesin dibongkarnya, untuk melakukan perawatan rutin dan ganti oli.

Final word, Yamaha Enduro DT 100 memang dirancang serius oleh engineer Yamaha. Jadi meskipun ini adalah motor keluaran tahun lama motor ini masih bisa jalan dan bahkan untuk medan extreme jauh mengungguli motor-motor baru.

There are interesting stories with this motor, on April 15th, the rain pouring down. near Colombo Maret at Kaliurang KM-6.5 street, motorcycle engine misfire. I tried to remove spark plugs, engine can run for few moments, and off again, this case for 5 minutes.

Finally, after the machine can run stagnant, I am forced to run it, I am pulling the carburettor choke knob, Because of this is then a silver Mitsubishi gallant V24 almost hit me, and fortunately I am able to avoid.

The Symptoms I suspect due to run out of gas. I directed the motor to the gas station in Jalan Kaliurang, and it turns out correct, because after the filled with 4.4 liters of premium, the tank not yet full.
